This is one of five long-term members of my wishlist, which I was able to promote into my collection all at once thanks to a generous name-your-price promotion granted by the fine "bigo & twigetti" label. Fiona Brice is a name you will bump into several times while flipping through the label's catalog. Her breathtaking 1st String Quartet in three movements is an exciting contribution to contemporary classical chamber music. Sven B. Schreiber (sbs)

The horns and other woodwinds on this album are so intense. A perfect mix of beauty and tension. Anytime I hear artists experimenting with woodwinds like this, it always peaks my interest, and this album does a wonderful job of sounding raw and unscripted, yet calculated at the same time. “Scatter My Ashes” exists at a crossroads between multiple styles, but emerges with something rich, textural, ambient, and riveting. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 7, 2022

Nice bunch of quiet, semi-modern chamber pieces with field recordings worked in that don't overwhelm the compositions. "Repose, Tenuous" I'll have to transcribe for finger-style guitar. Mark Jung
